We needed a project lead resource for one of our local Government clients.  The project was off track and needed leadership and a delivery focus to land on time and on budget.  Paul achieved this as well as assisting with significant cost avoidance and savings during his tenure.  We will certainly be using Paul’s services again, a safe pair of hands with a wealth of knowledge.

At my previous company Cushman & Wakefield I needed someone who could hit the ground running, take the reins, and deliver a seamless operational readiness program for BHP at their office in Adelaide.  The project required the transitioning of 2 buildings into 1 within a tight timeframe and with the added complexity of building exits and a short lease tail remaining.

From my first meeting with Paul, I met an individual that had a vast amount of experience, reflected a calm demeanour and a willingness to dive into the challenge,  exactly what I needed for a project that was high pressure.  Upon engagement Paul drove to Adelaide, lived there for 12 weeks and delivered a seamless transition that the client was extremely happy with.  We were so happy with the result and our client feedback, that we subsequently engaged Paul to manage similar, but much larger, programs for another of our clients National Australis Bank.

In my new role at Knight Frank as Partner Head of Workplace I was able to confidently recommend Paul once again to a senior colleague and he was engaged to provide services for a city council in Sydney.  Once again, he delivered seamlessly resulting in a very happy client. The ability to leverage the skills that Paul brings and feel confidence that he will pick up complex programs of work with a multitude of stakeholders and many moving parts and deliver to a high standard has been invaluable to me and I look forward to working together on a future project.

NAB, one of our clients, were undertaking the largest property projects in their history.  3 sites across 3 cities and 2 states impacting around 5,000 people.  We brought Paul in to help us manage the Operational Readiness functions within the project delivery scope.  His methodology provided complete transparency and provided a North Star for all of the team to aim at.

All 3 projects were an overwhelming success and we had a very happy client as well as very happy colleagues at the end of it.  A task with added complexity as the whole Operational Readiness program was managed during COVID.  Creative and committed, I’ll certainly utilise Paul’s services again when the opportunity arises.

Paul was engaged by Vodafone on a 6 month contract to manage some upgrade works to our call centre in Hobart.  A difficult landlord and shifts in corporate objectives resulted in him managing the acquisition, design and construction of a brands new 1,200 seat call centre in that city.  After that he continued in a PM transition role to help deliver our new 10,000 sqm head office in North Sydney.  His 6 month tenure lasting almost 4 years.  After our merger with TPG I asked Paul to help us with some smaller transition projects including an state office in Adelaide, and the exit of the Hobart call centre and merging into a shared facility with Qantas.  Paul’s leadership, resourcefulness, and problem solving ability ensured that all of the projects he worked on were a success.  Looking forward to working with him again soon
